Okay Junkies,

Marty just posted again in the thread "House Raffle" under General Chit Chat the following:

"The make or break is not just to pay for the house, it also raises funds for this company that is in critical shortage.  Still, only 4% of the people that use this site help support it, the other 96% come up with the most unique excuse not to."

Now..........I'm not a rocket scientist............but I know a cry for help when I hear it.

Soooo, what's your excuse for not making a donation to Any Soldier?

Alright Fellow Junkies...

Here's my 2 cents worth...in the short time I've been perusing the forum this afternoon, the number of guests/members online at the forum has ranged from 320-580 (approximately)...at $5 per person, that would be $1600-$2900 raised.  $5 is a trip to Starbucks, a half-gallon of ice cream, or about 1/3 of a take-out pizza...

I realize that $3000 is us a drop in the bucket, but we all have at least $10.95 to spare, or we wouldn't be here.  It doesn't have to be a big donation (big donations are nice, though), but if we all pitch in at least a little bit, we can make a difference.  We can't let Anysoldier go down...for our soldiers, for Marty and the team, or for each other.

Skip your coffee in the morning (take the ibuprofen you already have in the cupboard for your headache ), or pack a lunch instead of buying one and head on over to the "Make a donation" button...

We can make this happen.

I am going to throw another calculation on there, well...two.

1.  For every name you pull, send Marty $5.

2.  or, for every package you send out, send Marty $1. 

The economy is tight, budgets are tight, but maybe we can scarpe up enough to keep AS afloat for a while.

as I wrote in that one -- I already donate montly-- and I have had to slow way down on my purchases.. I have to send out what I have.. so I have requested very few "new" contacts lately.. not until finances get better.. anyway I did this based on a thread we started back in Jan, I think and I have donated every month.. I skipped one month so I doubled another.. but like you wrote,, one or a few of us won't make a difference.. lots of small things can add up to BIG results.. so let's all help as much as we can...
