Re: Christmas Requests 2008 - 505 Soldiers in one group

SPC Adam Alderman supports a group of 495 male and 10 female soldiers.  He posted today, Sept. 7, 2008 requesting items for Christmas stockings for this very large group.  He is very ambitious but I know you junkies can help him out.  Where he will put stuff for so many soldiers until Christmas is what I'm wondering....but he must have a plan.  Let's all help out so he can fulfill his plan to provide for SO MANY.

Re: Christmas Requests 2008 - CSM Otis Hooper

I posted CSM Otis Hooper under Special Requests - he also wants candy, which doesn't fit Nonfood.

Hi Gran - Hmm - 'candy ... doesn't fit Nonfood" - I know a dietitian that would differ with that opinionStick out tongue (Just kidding)  So I think the post fits here just fine.

Sgt Duane L. Kord , USMC

    13/0, 15 requests, CA, LP 27Aug

Says in his post of Aug 27 - ‘We are from -Camp Pendleton and will be spending CHRISTMAS and New Years out here in the desert.' - followed by a list of things his Marines would like.

Could this be a hint J And Samara if you still have any of those Girl Scout cookies left - here’s your manJ

    Sgt Christopher Egge, USMC

9/1, NC, LP - 13Aug (as well as first),

He says Christmas decorations would really bring up morale - coffee stuff, board games and batteries.

    SSgt Jeremy E. Clower, USMC

    8/0, Japan, LP - Sept 14

If anyone happens to be upgrading their movie cam this year and would like to help this group of Marines out, they are looking for a mini-DVD camera to record messages for their families back home for Christmas.

So I guess - if you don’t have a camera - mini DVDs would be the thing hereJ in hopes that someone will have the DVD camera for them.J

They also have a good list of things they could use so check the post if you’re interested in supporting these Marines.

P.S.  It's rather early here on the east coast so if anyone finds errors here pls let me know so I can correct them:)

Just FYI.......I was at the Dollar Tree in town yesterday and they have alot of Christmas decorations up and very nice assortment of boxed Christmas Cards (even Disney ones!!!).......so we can start buying and sending and they will have time to write cards and get them back to family/friends in time.

SPC Benjamin C. Dunlap has 300 males/100 females.  In his post on Aug 22 he asks for christmas "decorations and stuff" as their supply of lights and ornaments were lost in a fire.
