Re: Christmas Requests 2008 - GySgt Deniz

GySgt Jesus Z. Deniz - contact for 150.  Is trying to get one gift per person to put under their tree.  Sounds like a big undertaking!!  He has compiled a list of his group along with some suggestions (under $20) and is looking for people to help him with this endeavor.  Wouldn't it be cool for one of our guys and gals so far from home to find a package with their name on it under the tree and get something they had specifically asked for!

    Re: Christmas Requests 2008 - What's a "Burn" T? Or Shouldn't I ask?

I just want to give a HUGE shout out to Ann for keeping this thread -- GREAT JOB!!! Yes

    YOU ROCK!!

    Thanks,

    --Marilyn Cool

P.S.  A burn toilet is -- well -- there's not exactly a delicate way to put it, (sorry), but I'll try. When no "modern" sewage collection processes are available, waste is collected in large barrels and burned for sanitary and disease prevention reasons.

The Chief is also looking for local type items to remind his Troops of home like tasty cakes from philly or salt water taffy from the shore so any of you local folks who read this, maybe you can kick in and help the Chief outJ .

With a name like “Liberty” who can resist this oneJ . He is also asking for mail  as well as stationery - guess I’ll have to put him on my card list - YIKES it it ever getting longer and longerJ

PS - Thanks Marilyn - Hope Santa has all of these folks on his "Nice" list:).
