    SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES

    AMAZINGLY SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES

Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them while you chop.

Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by using the sink.

For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer.

A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.

If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives; then you'll be afraid to cough.

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Remember: Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

    Daily Thought:
SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES; NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

    Hey Bo,

These are great.  Especially the 2 tools you only need - WD-40 and Duct Tape.  If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.  If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

It's the old standby for men at fixin things.

Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself.

I once read a funny piece by someone who bought a home that was previously owned by a home handyman who fixed everything that needed to be fixed...by painting it green if duct tape didn't work.  LOL

BTW, I always travel with several yards of duct tape rolled up in my suitcase.  It is amazing what it can be used for in a pinch.  I have used it for everything from taping up a falling hem, to securing drapes shut in an economy class hotel in a foreign country, to fixing a suitcase so I could make it home without paying exhorbitant prices overseas for a new travel bag.

Those are funny, but I love your signature quote the best.  Is it bad that it makes me think of my mother-in-law?  Yes, it's bad.
