Possible Free stuff- I might have too much.

I work for a nice sized day spa in Akron. Im the mgr there and we receive these sample or trial sizes all of the time form a company whos job is to get trial/sample sizes out to the public and they send HUGE boxes to our office. these items are placed in gift bags for our clients. So as Im speaking to a rep from this company I felt it was a great time to hit them up for items for the troops.

I tell her the whole story about my family...reconnecting with my high school sweetheart whos now a SGM with 24 yrs (we will be married in Feb) and my 20 yr old son whos now at Ft Benning at basics and how I got involved recently with AnySoldier.com. I ask..."hey do you ever have over stocks?  If so what do you do with them,?"  Now keep in mind when we get things from this company its in MONSTEROUS shipments. At work we just got a shipment of 5000 womens razors! these would be ideal for our troops....no shave gel needed. ITS BUILT IN!!!!

with that being said...once I fill up my soldiers requests, I would be happy to share my bounty with other AnySoldier.com supporter in the area...and im sure I will have plenty to go around!

    my email is horsepowerco@aol.com

also was wondering how many of you are from the Akron Canton Ohio areas?

Hello Luvembuckeyes! If you sort the AS active contacts by number of women supported you will find some contacts that could really put those samples to good use. For example, CPT Shannon K. Philio is a Chaplain and represents 200 females. Her most recent post says any type of hygiene item would be greatly welcomed. (Just an idea ) Please thank your son and fiance for their brave service!!

     Greetings Fellow Buckeye Fan!

Please tell your son and soon to be hubby thanks for us for their service to our country.  I would happily send you a pre-paid box for some of the female supplies you have.  Send me a p.m. or email me.

By the way, not from Akron but still love them BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!

    Best,

    Hi,

Wouldn't there be double postage if you send it to a junkie and then the junkie mails it to the contact?  What if a contact would send you an unsealed letter for inside the box, a completed customs form, and the postage $$ and the contacts name and you just send it from there and skip the double postage.   I think Marty would allow the contact to give you the address since you are a registered junkie! I am not sure, buy if this sounds like a good idea, you could email him and ask.

I am just thinking of saving money so that there is more to mail more boxes!

WOW guys thanks for the kind words and well wishes in your emails.

OK got questions for you all......I selected my contact...about 3 total. The first 2 I send letters to...telling them my intentions and that I got their contact info from AnySoldier.com. In the letters I asked them for a list of items they needed as a few had not updated their info in sometime. These were sent several weeks ago...I included my mailing address and my email address in case they had access to email. Not a word...now what?

Is it best just to get and address thats current and send what they ahve posted as needs here on Anysoldier or what???? Im going to have the 3 car garage FULL of goods and no soldiers to send them to!

Heres what I know thus far. My first 7 cases were released to ship on Friday. Which means they will ship to my house on Monday from NC. As soon as they hit the door, I pull whan I need out of them for my contacts, I will make a list of what I have left for the taking. Will be happy to ship directly to your contacts with proper postage, and info.

PS Still no word from the 3 contacts I sent letter to. Should I consider no news good news and just send packages anyway or?????

OK...The first 7 cases of stuff is gone. Some went to the battered womens shelter...however most went to our men and women in harms way. I have another 4 or did she say 5 cases coming NOW. I have no idea what will be in these. As for Razors...Im sorry but they seem to be few and far between. If I have extras I will let you know.

Since I have yet to hear back from ANY of the contacts I selected here on Anysoldier I will keep trying with other contacts. I know our troops are busy holding down fort at various locations...so I will keep trying.

Also...romance novels...I must have a gazillion of these things. These are a pocket size book...I have not read any of them...sorry not my thing. but I have about 12,000 of them if any one is interested.

PM or email me and we can go from there.

    Thanks ALL!

    Luvembuckeyes........

OK........I'm there.............I will be sending you the stamps to cover a APO/FPO box to BRIAN K. BALFE.    He supports a HUGE unit and can certainly use any toiletries you can box up and have ready to go for his group.    I certainly appreciate it.   I'm sure you'll get the letter from me by the end of the week.   I will have the customs form, a letter from me to him and the postage to you in tomorrow's mail.

    Thanks alot........
