Bonjour from Cajun Country, Lafayette, Louisiana!

  I'm going to make a cute flyer with Halloween pictures and information about AnySoldier.com.  I'm going to staple one to each bag of M & M's and other types of candy that we'll give out to the children on Halloween night.  I'll also put flyers up by the road for anyone to pick up like I did for the 4th of July.  We bought one of these plastic holders like the realtor people use to put flyers in at Lowe's.  I'll probably put a balloon or something to attract attention.  Sometimes the parents stay on the street and let the children walk up to the door by themselves.  I'm hoping they'll take one.  I thought this would be a good way to spread the word!

This is a wonderful idea!  Thanks for posting.  I bet you get some takers.  Even if only a few join the ranks you will have had success.

Do you know if there is a community effort supporting the troops?  I know there used to be but I haven't heard of such anymore. Just wondering.  Seems a shame that there wouldn't be something for folks to do as a community effort for christmas at least.  We have such a great city here for such things like that.  Just wondering.

There was one supporting the 356 when they were in Iraq.  But since they've returned, I don't know of any.  If I hear of one, I'll let you know.  One of these days, Robert will have to come and bail me out of jail!!  I keep these flyers with me all the time.  If I see a "Support the Troops" magnet on a car in a parking lot, I'll put one in the door or under the windshield wiper.  Robert said, "One of these days you'll set the car alarm off and the cops will come get you!

LOL.  They come, give 'em a flyer......If they haul you in anyway........call me, I'll vouch for ya!

  I made a zillion copies of my Halloween flyer with information about AnySoldier and brought them to the "Zoo of Acadiana", located just south of Lafayette.  I was so excited about the great response I got when I asked if they would allow me to place my flyers there.  They are having a special Halloween event this weekend called "Boo at the Zoo"!  There will be so many parents and children there.  I know they'll be turned into AS Junkies immediately!!
