    Middle School class looking with solider to adopt

     My name is Misty Fleming. I teach middle school reading. The School is Stone Middle School in Wiggins, MS.I am looking for two or three soldiers that my class can adopt to send cards, letters, and small gifts. They are classes of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. The letter writing will help them improve riding skills. As well learn the impact that war has on everyone. Right now they are writing essays on Why American Soldiers should be honored.

    Misty,

    I sent you an e-mail about the process. You can also read the FAQ page, and if you read some of the contact notes you will see what the needs are. You don't have to send care packages, I know that letters from children are always welcomed.

    Misty, I'm a substitute in a middle school and last year supervised the entire student body writing letters for Veterans' Day.  Feel free to email me if you want info on how we handled it.
