Hey folks, let me introduce one of our newer contacts, Sgt Nick Chirco.  He's the brother of ProudSister (Betty).  He is a really nice man, a huge flirt,  and knows how to make you laugh.  He is in a rough area in Iraq, lacking many amenities.  Of course, true to form with our soldiers, he doesn't want to ask for anything but they need food (he's lost 40 pounds over there) and baby wipes and hygiene stuff and fun diversions.  And guess what?!  He's home on R&R for a short time.  He's agreed to a live chat in the AS Iraq chat room this Fri. at 10pm EST.  This is your chance to meet a hilarious soldier who can answer your questions.  I talked to him on the phone the other night and spent the entire time laughing and even woke up with a smile the next morning.  And Nick, give us a post, Please?!     Anyway, he'd love to meet you all!!  See you Friday.

Also just a Thank You to Marty and all the caring people on AS.. I am so happy to have found this support and have opened me arms and heart to all of you. My brother means the world to me.. You all on AS are an added bonus!! I don't get to see my brother because he is stationed so far away from me. I miss him so very much!!  But the network of warmth I have found here has made it easier fro me!!

Your brother and I are conspiring against you...LOL.  Actually we decided on the time after you left the chat room the other day.  So folks...tonight is "date night" with Nick on the Iraq chat room at 10pm EST.  Trust me he will be delighted to meet anyone who has the chance to drop by!  He loves everybody and has missed out on visiting for many months already while he was in Iraq.  He's going back from R&R to a remote location soon and won't be able to talk with us much...so come by and say hello.
