I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but oh well it'll do. This weekend I was posting a package and the manager at the USPS store (who I always thought was very grumpy), he asked me about the parcel and once he saw it was for anymarine he dug into his wallet and paid for the postage. Then later on I went into Bath and Bodyworks sale to see what was in the clearance bins, I have found some great stuff very cheap there before. As I was shopping the assistant told me her boyfriend is about to be deployed and the other assistant in the store is a Navy Vet and they made these cute little Christmas parcels with bodywash, showerpuff, bodysprays, soap and other great stuff. And it cost me $5 each for a parcel. I was so amazed. They told me to come back for more. Earlier in the week my trainer asked me if I knew any troops needing gym gear. Of course I did. He had 3 boxes of equipment, supplements, clothing etc. Wow what an amazing week.

USKiwi - Isn't it wonderful when people react in such a giving way! Don't you wish there was a way to tell every person in the US about AnySoldier! Some of my friends get really turned off if I talk about it or in some way suggest that they participate. But there are sooooo many people who would help if they just knew how to do it. It's great that you got so many goodies!

You had a good week for sure.  Jean I'm sorry some of your friends act like that, just don't let them deter you.  It's their loss, maybe if they read some of the posts on AS or if you shared a ltr or e-mail from a contact, they might understand better.  .

I'm blessed with friends that help me, especially this time of year, couldn't do it without them.
