    Hot Pots??

I haven't been able to find a hot pot, I've tried WalMart, RiteAid, Bi-Mart, Target, Kohl's, Gottschalks, etc.  No one seems to know what I'm talking about.  I had one that I had only used once and sent it off years ago to Iraq.  Does anyone know where I can buy them?

    Thanks,   Anita

    Hi Anita...

Are you talking about a pot that you plug in that heats up water? If that's what you're referring to, I bought mine on Amazon.

The link below is for the Proctor Silex hot pots... and right now, they have a promotional...4-for-3 for this particular brand.

You can buy any four items whether it's books, household goods, toys as long as they are part of the for the 4-for-3 promotion. Amazon will give you the cheapest item free at checkout.

They had the same promotion last year and I bought eight of them and with the 4-for-3 they were $11 each. I sent them all out and they were well received.

I will probably buy some more since I'm sure they could use them during the winter months.

I apologize in advance for my rambling if this is not what you're looking for!  Good luck.

    Re: Hot Pots??

     Hi Anita,

I bought a few at Walgreens last week for $ 9.99  which is their regular price.  Also, had a register coupon of $3.00

going on.  It ended up being a very nice buy.

Our local Rite Aid carried  them last year.  They are in the section with the small appliances and are also referred to

as water boilers.  Hope this helps!

This is the one I sent up to Keating.  It costs more but has a covered heating element, non-stick interior, and temp control for simmering or keeping soups warm.  It was also at Amazon.

I honestly have no clue which style is better for their needs.  This is just the one I prefer to use myself.

Thanks ladies, guess I need to do more online shopping instead of running around to stores.  The one I had before you could do soup, chili, etc or heat water.  It was really fast.   I will go shopping at Amazon and save my gas!   It's actually down to $2.15!!!   Leaves more money for shipping boxes   LOL     Anita

    Re: Hot Pots??

    Anita,

A few weeks ago while we were trying to get through Big Lots in Little Rock in a dash (yeah - try doing that), we passed by the small appliance area and I noticed that they had one of the Rival Hot Pots that Jo mentioned.  I only saw the one and it wasn't in a box, so I passed it up, so didn't pay attention to price, etc., but I also like that one over the ones with the exposed coils in the bottom because canned soups, etc. can be heated in them.

    Re: Hot Pots??

Thanks Gran.  Our Big Lots closed up last year.  But while looking on Amazon last night at the Rival, it also showed Target having them.  Since I had to go to Albany today anyway checked them out and they had them for $9.99 so I took all six.  When I checked there before they didn't have them so maybe it's a seasonal item.  Have to work a bazaar this weekend to raise shipping $ but will get them off in the mail on Monday.

Thanks everyone for the help, can always count on the junkies.   Anita
