I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I couldn't find a category that really fit soooo... here goes.
I'm just so excited I have to share. I'm pretty new to this, have been sending letters and packages for about a month, and am just loving knowing I'm doing something to help our troops.
So I noticed that many of the contacts ask for paper or stationery to write home with. That said, I contacted a company that I've ordered custom gifts from several times - thestationerystudio.com - and asked if they could spare any seconds or leftovers for me to send to the guys and gals.
They sent me two big boxes full of notecards! They are so awesome! Just a little plug for them - I'm heavily involved in local charities and try to make it a point to patronize those businesses that are generous with the donations and auction items for the events I work on - check them out, and if you find yourself needing something they offer, let's give back to them.
