    Re: Hungry Soldiers

    Hi Ally,

I've also been sending packages to MSgt Newsome.  I've sent 4 or 5 boxes of hygine items and the big costco size baby wipes.  I've sent a few boxes of snacks and drink powder...figure they can always use little snacks, but haven't sent anything that needs to be heated or needs hot water.  With a 195 people, glad someone else is sending them items.  I've also bought some of the big No-Ad suncscreen and sent some small bottles for them to split the big bottles up of they need to.  The No-AD brand is a better price than of the other brands and we've used it for years.  We purchase at Wal-mart, but saw it at our Giant grocery store & CVS recently.

    Anna,

That's great that someone else is sending items too! I've been sending different things for the ladies, like shampoo, conditioner, facewash, bodywash, loofas, chick flick movies, and that kind of thing. I bought some Banana Boat sunscreen from Target the other day, and it was like $7 for just one mediocre tube! So, needless to say, I was only able to get one at the time so I could afford to get some other things fo them. Will look for the No-Ad brand next time I go shopping.

    Ally,

The No-AD was 7 something for 16 oz and I found it on drugstore.com for 6.99 with free shipping if you purchase $25 or more.  Amazon had a price of around 6.00, but shipping was 5.61.

I have used No-Ad for years and it is a really good value.  I have seen it at Big Lots, but I don't remember what the price was.

I received a letter from Joseph Diacheysn.  His (their) conditions have improved dramatically.
