    Target Clearance Items

Yesterday, Target had 100% cotton jersey twin sheet sets for $4.68.  They had 2 oz Sunsilk shampoo and conditioner for 48 cents.  They had red, white and blue decorations including lights and flags made in the USA for 50% off.  The flags are really nice.  They have the stitched stripes and stars.  They had a box of 460 Glad sandwich bags for $4.24.  These were all in different departments in the clearance sections.

You really hit it at a good time.  I hope our store has comparable bargains tomorrow.  Maybe I can drag Mr. Gran through there.

Sorry you didn't find any sheets.  It is the luck of the draw when we find the bargains.  You will probably find another item that is a good deal too!  I love a bargain, especially when it is something that a soldier has requested.

    Re: Target Clearance Items

I went to my local Target and was so excited to find (1) set of twin sheets left in the clearance section.

They were the cutest Hawaiian floral print -  and just perfect with the small Hawaiian fringed banner from Party City to decorate a girlie room. I love finding things to make them feel special!!!

After I got the sheets home I noticed that one side of the package said twin - the opposite side said Queen.

When I opened the package - they were indeed Queen.  Should I pass on the Great Deal if its not the right size

Not sure what the oversized fitted Queen sheet could be used for?

There was a female who was requesting colorful shower curtains or fabric to use as a privacy wall for some of the girls? Maybe it would better suit .group - Any suggestions!!!

    Re: Target Clearance Items

Since I have a sewing machine, what I would probably do is to hem the fitted one all around (after cutting off the fitted edges) and send them on like that.  They will figure out how to use them - no worry.  The fitted one might be a bit of a problem the way it is because the flat one couldn't be used with it as a top sheet because of the oversized problem.  Do you sew at all, even enough to make a shirt-tail hem in the fitted one?

     Gran,

Sad to say - I do not sew.  My mother  sews a bit but has been ill .

I'll wait until she is back on her feet and I'm sure she will want to help.

    Thanks for your input !!

    Joy,

Why don't you do a search for Queen Sheets.  I know that there have been some requests for them.  I think it doesn't matter what they look like even to the guys.  It might go to someone from Hawaii or that someone that loves to wear Hawaiian shirts when at home.

Queen sheets are needed - my guy (Anthony Erskine) was asking for queen sheet! :)

I have an outlet close to the house where I find sheets. Not a cheap as some clearance racks, but it's still a great deal. I love it! :)
