Ok... now I need to turn my attention back to the meet and greet "CHAT" luncheon to be held at Quantico!

Anyone know anyone who likes to golf?  The tourney can use a few more golfers!
The luncheon can certainly use more reservations... know anyone living in this area?
I have a promise from DE, Southern MD, at least three from Baltimore, and several from VA including someone's dad who is 80 and retired military!  YEAH! 

Should be a fun time.

The rain has melted most of our snow.  I can see green again!

Spring time is coming!

My Cards are done!!!!!  They are going out in the mail today if I can get my dad to drop them. If not, tomorrow when my husband can.  I want to give a shout out to my husband who has been my source of support for this, he has been to walmart or walgreens or office depot several times for me, and ladies he was in the craft section picking out "Springy" stickers for the envelopes.  He did a good job I think, I love the envelopes!

So, 25 cards winging their way to you in a SFRB.  Some of mine were bigger than usual, but they had no problem fitting, thank goodness!

I finished my cards!!! I gave them to DH this morning and he will send them out today. I did 25.

Can't wait to see everyone's cards.

We are having spring weather here, or almost summer weather. Today will be in the high 80's. May have to turn on the AC.

My cards went out yesterday. They should be there by Sat. according to the post office. Today mother nature gave us just a hint of spring......yeah. It was raining for once instead of snowing. It is still only in the 40s and typically we have 4-6 weeks of winter left but for once it was nice to see something besides snow.

I can't wait to see everyones cards. Pretty much all my contacts from past swaps are home or coming home soon. I have picked up a couple new ones within the last couple of weeks that I will send my cards to. A new group for the change of the season. I can't wait for one of my new conacts to recieve some of the beautifal card. She was born and raised most of her life in the former USSR. Life there wasn't very good for her or her family. They have been in the States since 1998 and she has been in the military for 2 years. This is her first deployment and she always sounds so amazed by the support we give our military. A nice box of cardss from supporters across tthe country is going to make her day. I can't wait to get her response.

 we have a snow storm here in New England. 12 inches of fluff.and its not from the bunnies <S>

Not sure if the mail will make it through, but here's hoping.

 I have had a few people worry that their cards weren't good enough or dorky or  whatever the description.....All the cards are wonderful.they truly are.because they are done with love and care.

 I felt the same way with my Valentines. They just didn't turn out as I envisioned. Well I have received more responses from those silly cards than I have from the oodles of packages I have sent out. I was amazed.

 So ladies, some of you already know and have taught me, sometimes the smallest gesture can reach out the farthest. Thank you all

 A HUGE Thank you to all who made the extra special efforts to get your cards to me on time. (Dawn and Lilly B. arrived today)

I am still waiting for 2 bundles to arrive, and hopefully they will be here tomorrow, so I can get these mailed backed to you by Friday.

 Everyone did a fabulous job on their cards. And even the envelopes.  I can't stop smiling! (but then I do love bunnies!)

 There are going to be some very lucky soldiers  "over there" ....
