Re: Swap #8.. Cards out on Saturday

     Hi All

Looks as if the cards should be sent back out to you on Saturday.  I hope this is okay with everyone.....I know some of you tried extra hard (and extra $$) to get your cards to me on March 3rd.

If you would like, I can send a mix of  cards that would not include the full assortment  from everyone on the swap..or if Saturday mailing is ok (assuming all are received by then) I will send out the full assortment

These cards are fabulous......heck, we should start our own business<S>  (just kidding Marty, Just kidding)

       Smiles

     Amy

    Cheers,

    Amy

    Amy,

Saturday mailing is fine with me,even though I can't wait to see the cards. I wouldn't want to miss seeing any of them.Smile

    Thanks for all your work.

Fine by me, they will not be going out right away anyway, to my guys that is. So one or two days is not an issue.

Saturday is great for me too.  There's plenty of Spring to come.  We've still got snow here although it is supposed to be in the high 60s/low 70s tomorrow. Cool Lynne B.

Re: Swap #8.. and, They're Off.........................

     Hi All

First of all, Thank you Ever so Much for your efforts, patience, extra goodies<S>, special notes, and for being a great "team".......This swap helped me through the wintery Blues....I hope to be hostess again next Spring.

    The cards were mailed today.

    They were mailed priority

You will receive  at least 25 cards.

    You will receive duplicates

You may receive duplicates of your own cards. I set up 25 piles of cards. If someone sent extra I put them in the piles, if someone sent less (as was originally planned) I put them in the piles. In the end I counted up cards and added as needed.

Be "gentle" removing some of the cards from the envelopes. There are extra stick ons, enclosures, etc.  (I confess to making my cards to big and they fit tightly in their envelopes..but heck I figured I was the hostess I could do that<S>)

Most of you will be receiving your cards in a white box. Anna, Sandy and Crystel will be receiving theirs in envelopes.  (I ran out of boxes<S>)

If everyone could either post or send me an email when they receive their bundles  that would be great and I can stop worrying and officially call this Swap to a Close.

Again, Thank you from  that brightly glowing spot in my heart....All the cards are fabulous.  As I told several people, there can be no "bad" cards when done from the heart.

It was 65 degrees here today. A teaser. But I saw  green shoots  where piles of hardened snow had been, trickling streams from Wintery Melting, and a scent in the air that beckoned my senses to believe, once again, in Spring.

    Thank you All

    Amy

    Cheers,

    Amy

I am so excited, can't wait to see our handiwork!  And can't wait to send them out.  I have a couple of long time contacts heading home this month and picked up two new ones so they will be my first recipients of the Swap #8 cards.  Thanks, fellow participants and KUDOS to AmyG, coordinator extraordinaire!

I'm excited to get the cards....yayyyyyy!!! My box of letters from other people is woefully empty with all the packages I've been sending out, so I could use them for sure!

And I have a great idea for the summer swap, so I need to get rolling on those soon too. Anything to get my mind off the crazy snowstorm I'm watching out my window!

I got my cards!!!! They are GREAT. I loved looking at them all, we have such a creative bunch of people. Now I just have to decide who will be the lucky group to get them.

Colourful, don't think of it as a snow storm. If you tilt your head to one side and squint, it will look like beach sand, just what you need to get inspired for summer fun!!

Can't wait to get my cards, I hope they are in the mail tonight. It is just so exciting to get them, it really is like Christmas.  I can imagine it is like that for the guys, too! Stick out tongue
