    Christmas Gift from "my" Marines

    This Christmas I was surprised by a Christmas gift from a Unit of Marines I write to.  I put it under my tree.  It was an alligator (I live in Florida) dressed in Marine Blues.  Check out my profile pic. 
    I do get hassled at work for getting a Gator as I work at University of Miami (rival to Florida Gators!!!).
    This was such a humbling experience.

    Isn't it wonderful when the troops take the time to write, email, call us,  etc.   But sending you a gift is the TOPS!!!   They have so much going on that for them to find the time and think about sending something is the BEST.    It's a cute pic of you and your "Gator Marine".   Have you sent them a pic of you and the gator???   Bet they'd like that.   

    A nice day indeed for you and NO DOUBT one you wont ever forget.

    that is so special to receive a care package back.   You will treasure that forever!
