I realize clearance items are hit or miss, but our local family Dollar had 90% off of Christmas candy - not much left but I got 20 red & green suckers for 10 cents the strip - I put them in my box today and wrote a note for the soldiers to imagine they had valentine hearts on them!  The clerk said the "penny out" the items (not sure of that term) and then are required to take them to the alley and pour gasoline on what is left.  I hope some of us can get these before that happens.  What a waste.

Now, off to shop Hickory farms for the great deal mentioned in another thread.
