Hi Heidi and fellow card swappers, Big Smile

Participating in AS card swap has gotten me to start a "card project" in my office.  Most everyone that works in my office is participating.  Each week I pass around 4 or 5 cards for each person to sign.  So, some of you will be receiving these cards in both swap 8 & 9.  I request that they buy or make cards to go along with the theme and bring to me.  Although not all the cards are springy or summertime, they are nice cards and I think the warriors will enjoy them.

I am also going to see if my daughter's class wants to sign a few to include in swap #9.

     Christi,

What a great idea!!!   I have been wanting to somehow involve my coworkers and while they may not want to provide cards of their own, I bet they would want to sign one that I provide!!!   Yaaaaa!

Re: Card Swap 9, Summertime Fun

    Hi all

ONE SPOT LEFT FOR THIS SWAP!! SIGN UP NOW!!Big Smile  Fun, Fun, Fun in the good ole summertime awaits you!

Here is the updated list for the swap.  Just to recap- we are doing 20 cards, or post cards or whatever. I plan on sending them back in the new small flat rate boxes or the flat rate envelopes-if they will not fit in the box.  I did a 5x7 card for thhe spring swap and it fit in the box, so use that as a size comparison if you like.  So, you can either send the postage in the form of postage for the small flat rate box, which is $4.95, or the cash.  Please remember to send me your mailing address as well as your email, so that I can enter it in my database.

Due Date that they have to be to me by is Friday May 1.

So, what we do is 20 cards or post cards-you can buy them or make them. If you have envelopes, you can decorate them, but be careful because we all have different service members they get sent to. If you want to address the outside of the envelope we have used "Hero" "Friend", things like that , and it seemed ok.  SO, you do up 20 cards, send them to me at my snail mail addresss either in a flat rate envelope or one of the small flat rate boxes, and postage for me to return your new 20 cards that you get back. I sort everyones cards into piles and send you guys a new pile of cards back in the mail. Then you can send them on to your contacts. Also, Leave the cards unsealed if you have envelopes so we can all be nosey and see your creativity!

Please send me an email at bravo29_98@hotmail.com to participate. I am running off a spreadsheet to keep it all clear. I will list everyone that goes into my spreadsheet off the email-by nickname if you give me one.

Here is a list as of 8:00 am March 5:

     Hi,

I just wanted to bump this up to the top so that the due date shows.  I have to have it in front of me because I have no memory!

    Thanks Vicki!

I was just going to log on to tell folks that there is only 1 month left!! If you are a procrastinator like me, it is time for work! *G* I just found out we are having an event at the site I work at on the 2nd, so if I have to work it, I will take the Sunday off to get the swap cards into shape for shipping on Monday.

Is everyone in the planning stage? Everyone doing ok? I went to Michaels to get papers and stuff, so have a plan sketched out, and will spend some quality time on the project this weekend, or next. Have to work it around baseball games.Embarrassed

    So, happy card making!

    Hello fellow swappers......

Not that I'm rushing anything......(as I have not started my cards for the SUMMERTIME SWAP #9).........but I saw Katrina mention Swap #10.   Then I thought......hmmm.....which one is that.......so I went to research the LIST of swaps and the hostesses......and couldn't find the post.    I know DiggerDeb want to due #11 (with an Aug date), and that Katryn Mummert was also hosting a swap (I believe in the fall).      Like I said.....I was just curious.....anyone remember what the theme is for #10 and who the hostess is???     On the same note as hostesses.......has anyone heard from Lisa (our Christmas Swap....that truly swamped the troops)?  I know she was having problems with her foot/toe.....just curious.  We have to keep tabs on each other as well as our contacts.

    Love peace and blessings...Anne Marie
