Have 4 boxes of female prods, (1 ebony hair prods) to go to Jason Sanders.  Had to put car in shop this am.  Had a pesky, "check engine" light.  Will ship the boxes Friday, 10/2, AM.

I too like to check for overlooked platoons that could use help.  Jonathan Jennings - 300/0 - requested on 9/11 with only 15 requests as of today.  They have been in Afghanistan since May and feel they could really use some help.  Requested clothing items for casualties that come in.

Thomas P. Blanchette - first contact on September 10.  Only 9 requests for 200 males and 25 females.  Are serving in Afghanistan until Feb 2010.  Toiletries and drink mixes.

For differing reasons, we have 3 contacts on hold at the time, so we picked up Jonathon Jennings, and hopefully, will be shopping today for more items to finish filling a couple of boxes for them.

We ordered 6 pair of basketball shorts from Kmart to be direct shipped to Jennings this evening, and we have a number of pair of flip flops, boxers, socks, soap, toothpaste and mw food to go out from here this week according to how long it takes to get it all packed since it will take 3-4 boxes.  We spent the money we were able to spend before we got any towels or tees.

I sent 2 dozen towels and 3 dozen t-shirts for Jennings this morning from Kohls. I hope that they don't send really big boxes. Getting free shipping is great.

God bless you all.  I went to Costco and got some flannel pants and 5 long-sleeved heavy Ts.  Lots of sox and it took up 2 FLBoxes.  Never thought to order direct and get free shipping.  Gotta try it!  Hope it doesn't take too long for him to get things.  Got a free mail thx yesterday (10/5) from A'stan and it was postmarked Sep 11!  Do our pkgs take that long to get there, does anyone know?

I have 2 other soldiers I am supporting in the same zip.  One package took 18 days to arrive - the other received within 7 to 9 days.  If I am understanding part of the address correctly, I think shipping larger boxes will not be a problem.  I feel this location was featured on Fox News over the last few days.

I shipped a large box today to Jennings that included 30 t-shirts (L & XXL) white socks, 4 prs. of flip-flops, 2 towels, few boxers, t-brushes, shave gel, few soap w/holders.

How I wish others would become as addicted as we are in supporting our troops.  I love to read the forum and see how everyone is making sacrifices to take care or our great military.  Great job everyone.
