    Brian R. Daniel

Sgt. Brian R. Daniel 9/0, 11 requests. writes " My boys are losing a little too much weight."  He requests food, esp. healthy food, for his men in Afghanistan.  Sounds like they could use some help from the Junkies!

We got 2 MILI-FRBs in the mail this morning to SGT Daniel's guys with tuna salad kits, peanut butter, honey, oatmeal, jerky, crackers, potted meat, vienna sausages, and lots of 2 oz. trail mix.  I just hope that it gets there in a short time.  We only had 5 of the tuna salad kits, and one 10-pk. of oatmeal on hand, so I'm sure they would like more boxes ASAP.

I received an email from Sgt Daniel this week!  He was very grateful for the help that has been given to his men. Sounds like a really good guy.  He said he emails because the last letter he tried to send was in January and it still has not arrived.

That is great that you heard from him. How long did it take for the box to arrive?

We also got a reply from SGT Daniel after we sent the two boxes on March 3.  He sent the email on March 16 - didn't take long at all to get there.

WOW! It is great to know that boxes are getting thru.  Do you know any other contacts that are in this area?

Now that the weather is starting to break in A'stan, the packages should be delivered in good time unless the action heats up so much that the 'copters can't get through.  Other than A'stan, I don't know what area Brian's unit is in.  He mentioned that he would be leaving his unit early due to an upcoming teaching position .
