Ahh this is my first post! So exciting!

I have a few dog food samples and such that I was hoping to send over to a group with K-9 troops, but I have not been able to find any.  Has anyone come across some groups with K-9's?  I would appreciate the help.

Anytime you are looking for something special like K-9 groups, you can click on the "Where to Send" page.  There is a search icon with a magnifying glass.  If you click on that icon, it will let you search the contents of the service members posts.  I did that with K-9 and came up with these.

A K-9 unit to support would be SSG David Harrison (in Iraq). I got the funniest note back from one of his guys telling me how he tried to use his military dog handling techniques on his wife's bossy little Yorkie.

When you use the search button as described above, there are several terms to try.  In addition to K9, you can use MWD, military working dog, and dog handler.  Somtimes these will yield different names.  You can use just dog but that search often get units that have picked up local strays, and units whose mascot is "dog", as in the bulldogs.  Good luck.  These dog guys are usually loads of fun!
