    Lastest info on Redirect Instructions?

I have been out of the loop for a while and was wondering if any one knows what our latest instructions are regarding the redirect instructions on the customs form.  I know at one time we could not put Any Chaplain but I'm not sure what most of you guys are doing.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I write "Local Chaplain" and whatever the APO/FPO part of the address says. As in

    Local Chaplain

    APO AE  09334

I've never had a package returned, so either they've all gotten to the intended recipient, or the "Local Chaplain" works....

I've always put any clergy and have never had any returned. No hassle from the P.O. either which is saying a lot as our PO is not too accomodating.

Perhaps I shoudl try that from now on.  A package I sent in February came back today. I actually sent this contact 2 packages so who knows where the other one is. His address changed sometime after I mailed the packages but now he's getting close to his end date.  BTW, the returned package really looks like it went through the war !

I've had packages return when the custom form was marked "Give to Any Clergy" "Give to C.O." and even one that was "Give to SGT (and his roommate's name)".

I hate paying for postage twice.  But its not as bad as wondering WHY the package was returned.

On the flip side you will see how good of a job you did packing the box when its returned.
