You did see one that isn't due till August. It is swap 11, the blank all occasion swap. I think there is still room on that one. look for it in the same Special Projects thread as this one is in.

I've gotten great emails from SFC Richard Hatt, and Sgt Bobbi Phillips from the July 4th card swap!

Phillis........how nice you received an email from Bobbi Phillips.  She is one of my contacts.   She went into old contacts a few months back....but I keep writing her and her unit at the 10th CSH.   My belief is to write them til close to their estimated return date as some of them are sooooo busy/or might not have good internet access to update.    What touched my heart months ago is when she wrote that she works in the mail room sometimes and to see people come in everyday to see if they have mail.......only to tell them that they don't.    It broke my heart......so I write them often......with many letters for her to give out.   She has been the recipient of a few of the card swaps.    I believe I sent 10 of the cards from the 4th of July swap to her.   She commented on my pics of Pikes Peak as her family was gonna be vacationing there and it made her feel in touch with them.....while she is away .........     On a side note.......she is at the same CSH as Allison Miller who has asked for cards for the troops who are wounded.    I had asked Bobbi to bring the cards to the hospital in the hopes that they will be passed around there too.

I sent some of the 4th of July cards to SFC Richard Hatt, but I haven't heard anything from him, so maybe someone else also sent him some.

I received an email this morning from Sgt. Bobbi Phillips as well.

I heard from Bobbi, too.  That was so considerate of her to take the time to email each of us.

I heard from Bobbi also.  She must have eailed everyon who sent a card!  How great of her to take the time to let all of us know how much she enjoyed our cards.  Lynne B.

Lynne.......I agree with you about Bobbi Phillips........how sweet of her to take the time to write all the people she received cards from........now if I can just get her to update her AS post!!!!!   

I see that Bobbi Phillips updated her post.   I had suggested it to her a few times.......then she asked me how (I'm thinking....?????........I don 't know?????)   So I told her if all else fails just email Marty and the support team.   Guess that worked......she updated....and it looks like the end date is Jan 2010.......(instead of the Nov. one)

Well, as she stated......she is very appreciative of all the support.......
