Package was delivered to wrong captain

I just got a very nice email from a soldier yesterday thanking me for the box and how much he and his soldiers were enjoying it....some of them were playing with the dominoes even as he wrote.  But I couldn't figure out who he was.. his name was not familiar.  I finally realized what happened.   I actually sent it to a female captain who has the same last name and somehow it got delivered to him instead!   I'm guessing they're both in the same area.

I'm not saying anything to the surprise captain because I don't want him to feel bad or unwanted or whatever.  As much as it sounds like they appreciated and enjoyed the box I'd rather have them think it was intended for them.  The letter I wrote was to 'Captain Same-last-name' so I'm sure it looked like it was to him.  So I'll just add his group to my list and send them some more.  The funny thing is that since I sent it to women, it was full of tampax and finger nail polish and foofy girly stuff!  ::laughs::  I'll make the next one more manly.

Now I've got to remail to that first captain.  This time I'll make the first name really, really clear!

    Edited to add:

I just talked to my daughter on the phone who had put a letter of her own in the box.  She heard from the surprise captain, too, only he told her who he was.  He's the husband of the addressee!  ::laughs::  Never mind!

How funny is that?! At least it was appreciated! I am glad you figured out how he recieved it though!
