Thanks for bringing this up.  I hope you can generate a lot of support for the children!

I posted "children's burn clinic - NEEDS" in the Humanitarian section on 07-20-2009.  To date I haven't received any replies to the thread but the address has been requested 3 more times. 

I looked at the supplies on the net and I think the cream is prescription only.  Hopefully some of the EMTs, Nurses, and Firefighters on this forum can help us figure it out!

Have contacted a couple of Doctors and Hospitals already...
One Doctor has responded favouably and promised to get
back to me...works at a Childrens Hospital...

Not really worried about the Non Prescription stuff...
I think that will be taken care of...on AS...

Hey Glen...how about beanie babies for the children? I wonder if that would be of any use....you know for comfort for the poor babies.

Did you get the information you needed on the medicine requested?  I know the cream is a perscription, but not sure about the other items.  Have sent an email to my sister in-law (a pharmacist) to see if she can help get some of these items.  She works closely with some Doctors.  Also checking with some Doctor friends to see if they can help.

I am having NO Luck in obtaing any of the Burn Cream...
Have located a supplier but you have to be a Pharmasit
or Doctor to purchase...also it has to go directly to an MD...

 Is anyone in contact with a MD at the burn unit?  Maybe the MD could request it directly from supplier and if you are willing to pay for it, maybe some arrangement could be made.

They have Flamazine (silver and sulfa burn cream 1%) without a prescription but their website looks lame.

Please don't buy anything until someone can vouch for them.

Really happy with this site in the past ordering supplies.  VERY fast shipping, very reasonable prices.  Communication and tracking, also outstanding.
