PS-truck is running again. Only $250.00 this time.I had saved that money for the paint job, so hopefully next year I will have saved that again-assuming the rust doesn't finally take over!!!  having vehicles is so fun!!

I do have a Thanksgiving Card I can print out for all 25. and they are an 8x11 four-folded... so they are small.

I can also do Halloween if needed, but will probably use print and stickers for those to save on ink! LOL.

I'll look up the next swap.. since I quit the flea market business and it looks like my school involvement will be limited due to the chemo, I'll have lots of spare time to make cards.  Besides, I've got all these supplies from the market booth to use up and make room in my house for other things!

Cheryl - got the cards from you and looked briefly at one last night - how neat of an idea to include some local history/tradition in you letter.

Got and message from VickiV that she is sending fall cards and the blank cards from the last what swap that she and Kaylynn did so we got  more sets for you guys on those!!  I put them both on the list as confirmed. The  scout cards are to help fill the list - they are not taking any back in exchange so that will help a bit to give us more variety as well and not so many duplicates coming back.

Donna C - I took you off the list because I have not heard from you yet - let me know if you still want to join and I will put you back and email you my address.   Got your email and sent my address - Thanks. 

At this point, anyone wanting to do a second set is also welcome since there are 7 or 8 slots left. You will obviously get 50 cards back  (duplicate set).  Let me know by Sept 19th if you want on the list for 2nd set and I will add you.

Reminder to everyone that I will be out of town that last full week of Sept when the cards are due - so you won't get confirmations that they were received until I get back and see the mail. Don't hesitate to send them in though, because my spouse will just put them in the spare room for me till I get back!

 Hey everyone - I didn't get a ton of response from the teenagers at scouts - but I got an overwhelming response from the guys at work. You all may get a card that says "from a vet" and you can smile knowing that these guys already did their time in Iraq or A'stan and are caring enough to write  to the ones still over there!!  One of the guys told me  how nice it was that he got packages from strangers while he was there, so I thought that was kinda cool! Anyway, there will be some fun cards for you all to look at when you get your packets back!

Well, finally finished my cards.   I will post them today and hopefully with Priority Mail you'll have it Sat (Mon the latest).   I'm not usually late on these.......sorry.   Kept trying to get to them...but I did a little bit everyday.  Next time I need to dedicate a whole day to the project (don't think that'll happen either!!!)   Now onto the other projects......making Christmas stockings, squares for the quilts and getting started on the Christmas swap cards (not to mention letters and packages!!!)  Somewhere in there have to schedule WORK!!!!   (LOL)

Best to everyone and can't wait to see the cards.   Has anyone received a response from the last cardswap (the blank ones) that were sent to our contacts??? (Just curious)

Just got home today. So far, I see cards from both Donna's, Deni, Lynne, and someone from ohio ?!. I will open them later tonight or tomorrow - gotta grocery shop and feed the kiddo tonight. I will watch the mail Monday and Tuesday for the rest coming in!

 Yep Katrina - I figured it out when I opened the package!  Got Anne Marie's cards too! 

I am gonna start sorting in the morning and hopefully can get some of them mailed out before the PO closes tomorrow - I have all day free so it shouldn't be too bad of a job. I am waiting on a couple more sets of cards so I don't want to start sending until the mail comes to my house in the afternoon.

You all will get a few duplicates, but hopefully I have figured out how not to give you your own cards back!  I am trying to fill in with the extra cards that I did and with the many I have collected from my "friends". 

I found some nice Vetrans Day cards too that I signed while I was on vacation as a little bonus from me! Look for them in blue envelopes.

Glad you are getting the cards..........as for duplicates.........thats fine.    And actually I wouldn't mind at all getting one or two of mine back ......it'd be nice for the contact I send to do see      Hope that doesnt mess up your system of dividing them up!!!    Have fun being the hostess

 Hi guys - Sorting is done and everyone's packages made it to the PO right before closing except for Donna L. ( I will get yours tomorrow am first thing when the counter opens!) 

Sorry, Anne Marie and Deni - I didn't see your posts till just now so you aren't getting your own back! OOPS!  

Anyway, everyone is getting more than 25 back. I did 3 sets myself (Fall, Thanksgiving, Veterans) and all those cards from my buddies added up quick.  I counted at least 40 from them!! I think you will all be pleased.
