      Kathryn -

I meant to ask earlier if you received my card that I mailed separately from the box.  It had the postage $ in it plus the return label.

Yes Deni, I got the card   Big Smile

It may take me a while to get to the bank with your check though, so don't look for it to go through right away. Maybe Saturday or else next week I will get over that way. My bank is near where I used to live in the next town over  - and I never bothered changing it because I have had my paychecks direct deposited for a long time.

       Me too!

Thanks everyone for your cards and Kathryn also for doing such a good job at hostessing.  I sat showed and read the cards and letters to an elderly friend of mine who has moved in with us.  She enjoyed hearing about everyone.  Good writing everyone, my contacts and their troops will enjoy all of them.

Cheryl,  did I know our anniversaries were only days apart?   I got you beat by a number of years though!  We're celebrating #33 this month.   Happy Anniversary!

Anne Marie, your poem once again was perfect.  It was fun to read about some new folks that I hadn't met before and get reacquainted with some others.

WOW! You all did such a great job!  I love them all, thanks for letting me be a part of this.  After seeing these I feel like mine are very childlike. Oh well, I enjoyed helping anyway.  Can't wait to start my Christmas ones!  Lynne B.

Hello fellow card swappers....... I finally had a chance to look at my cards which came in Sat's mail.   What a great job by everyone.   I too will thank you Kathryn M for hosting the swap (I see Nick had a hand with writing too).    EVERYONES work deserves a ^5!!!   Everyone puts many many hours into this project.   I often think I can get mine done in one day.....but it's the letter, stamping the envelope, getting my thoughts together (usually that's a BIG effort.....LOL) and writing each one out.   We ALL give alot of ourselves in this fun and worthwhile project.

Now......as Lynne B. just said........onto the Christmas ones ..........lots of  Left HugRight Hug  to everyone involved in this

    Love peace and blessings.......Anne Marie

PS....Kathryn.......did you like the little stockings for you, hubby and Nick???   Those are what I (and a few other "junkies") make for our groups at Christmas time

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to GOD.

Hey Anne Marie - I was gonna mail you a note tomorrow, but I will just tell you here instead that I thought those little stockings were adorable! Thanks for thinking of us!

I realized after I shoved the cards in the PO that I forgot to put in a note to everyone! Anyway, the cards were all great and I had a blast looking at them! Thanks to everyone that participated.

I am looking forward to the Christmas card swap. I just pulled out some of my cards this weekend that I have stashed as well as my Christmas scrapbooking stuff.

    Big Smile Kathryn M

I got a very nice email from a SFC Douglas Sands today.  I am thinking he must have gotten one of my swap cards.  There is also a nice note on Odie Summers post from 11/3/09 that you-all need to take some credit for because the package I sent had a big pile of your cards in it.

I am feeling the need to share these smiles.

    Take care
