    A couple of other things.

Gumbo--Campbell's makes a chicken gumbo soup, but I suspect there are some better specialty companies. Okra is what makes it gumbo. Sometimes made with seafood, but my family has always made it with beef and ham--use up that ham bone.

"Benne" wafers or candy. Benne (good) is another name for sesame seeds. It was consdered good luck to have some benne plants growing outside your house. Might be hard to find outside of the coastal south. Real homemade benne wafers use only 2 Tbs of flour for a whole recipe. They are crispy and thin and the devil to get off the cookie sheet. Have to "Pam" aluminum foil and then maybe you can peel them off. Yum. Yum. I think I know where I can get some. Not as good as homemade, but will have to do.
