Walgreens is clearancing King of Shaves shave gel - it's $1.59 (75% off) at both the stores in my area.   Good price for shave gel that can be sent in care packages.

Hello to everyone......

I was off yesterday and had a chance to walk around "my" Walgreens store.  Funny how when you work somewhere....you don't know the sale and clearance items.   Anyway.....wanted to let you know that most Walgreens are clearancing ALOT of things.   I bought a package of coffee filters (200) for just $1 and change.......3 pack chapstick for $1 (the troops can still use this)......24 pen pack (assorted colors) for 50cents.   There is the clearance rack and throughout the store clearance tags.....to make room for toys and Christmas items.

Then there are the regular sales items.   This week there is True North Nout Clusters at $3 each....and it'll print out a register reward for $3.   There is also Irish Spring Body wash (or soap)...2/$8 and a $4 register reward.   When I see something like that.....I'll buy only that......then go out to my car, put the items in the car and come back in and use the coupon on something else.  There is also a $10 reg. reward for $20 or more of Garnier products (like shampoo, hair color, etc.)Our store doesn't really care if you do it that way........you just CAN"T use it on THAT store purchase.   Then there are Nips on sale for 79 cents.   I like to send them.....it's a good tasting candy and it wont melt.

Next week (9/20-26) there will be a bunch of Halloween things on sale......for those thinking of sending items to their contacts.....like window clings for 99cents......Halloween tumblers 8/$1

And lastly......our store has started offering the flu shot (just the regular flu shot).....they are encouraging people to get it this year.....something to think about.......

PS.......forgot that our store still has a decent supply of Wyler's drink mix (lemonade, pink lemonade and cool raspberry) 8 packets in a box for $1

Our local Walgreen's also had Taster's choice coffee sticks 2 boxes for 1.99.  Just the caffeinne ones tho - no decaf:).

Next week's ad (9/27-10/3) has fleece throws (50x60) for $1.99 and heavy duty batteries for 99c  and 3pack of Ivory soap for 99c (coupons)     Of course there are always clearance items throughout the store (we had some of the bigger Hershey bars 4oz one for $1
