    Just got a thank-you!

Just got a thank-you from the solider I sent my first care package to :) It was only a tiny one but it was so nice that he took the time to say thanks. I really wasn't expecting to hear from anyone!

That is great news!  It is always fun to hear from the contacts.

Thanks both! It is great to know that the stuff is coming in useful for them :) Just a question- do you think it's better to support the same guys each time or should I request a different address each time I make a package? I mean, if I'm just sending letters, cards, magazines etc, maybe they'll get sick of receiving from the same person each time?

They won't get sick of receiving from the same person.  They might even feel neglected if you don't send to them again.  You don't have to send at any certain interval - just when you feel like you have a desire to contribute to their comfort and morale.

I agree with Gran. I like to stick to the same groups . I form a little attachment to them and think of them as "MY SOLDIERS" HAHA. But sometimes they drop due to no contact after a few updates so I have no trouble finding a replacement LOL
