    Jesse A. Chapman-clothes for wounded

Jesse A. Chapman in Afghanistan requests shirts (probably t-shirts) and shorts for the wounded.  The wounded soldiers have their clothes cut off by medics and need something to wear.

As of today, this group of 51 soldiers has 8 requests.

This group would also like microwavable meals, for times when they may miss meals.

I cannot afford to take on any more groups right now, but thought someone may be able to?

I saw this one and picked him up today. I was #10. I am sending some undershirts and some microwave soups that I have and a few cards from the halloween swap.

I have a box filled with soups and chili and mac and cheese, instant oatmeal.  I will pick up some tshirts and shorts over the weekend, and send out the boxes on Monday.

Sometimes they dont have bowls for the soup? Wasnt sure about the shorts, but they are the baggy jersey type material hope he can use them.

We have a box packed for Chapman to go out Fri. with 2 boxes instant oatmeal, 6 mw cup of soups, 4 lg. mw bowls beef stew, 2 pks. plastic spoons, one pr. flip flops, and we still had a little space left, so we squeezed in 2 tuna salad / cracker snacks and 2 pr. boxers.

AOMOM - I would guess that they wouldn't be very picky about what type of shorts they got, as long as they covered what needs to be covered.  Embarrassed

I just received the best email ever. Jesse Chapman wrote me a long email, get this, apologizing for not hand writing a thank you, well anyway, he told me a lot about himself  and how long he has been in the Army. Brought tears to my eyes, this soldier, so busy, took his time and wrote to thank me.  God Bless our troops!
