I know I'm not supposed to put the soldier's name on the envelope, but in the restrictions it said that I had to address it to an individual! How does that work? I tried looking at the FAQ but it only made me more confused.

 Use the address just like it was on the email to you, including the name of the contact.

On the second line should be either Attn:any soldier or Attn: any female soldier (or airman,marine, sailor - whichever is appropriate). Hope this helps.

 Thanks so much! I was a little unclear on how this worked since is the first time I've written to someone in the service. I just didn't want to get it bounced back if I didn't get it right.
