    Batteries are okay to send?

For some reason, I thought that I read in these forums that they weren't alright to send.  I searched and came across a few threads that discussed the types that most soldiers wanted.

Can someone help clarify this for me?  Thanks!

You can send alkaline batteries in the mail.   I believe that somewhere it does say that you are not allowed to mail lithium batteries.  If you read the lonnnnnnng postal regulations you will see what is allowed.

Thanks Vicki.  I must've seen something about the lithium batteries and "ass"umed that it meant both types.. ;)
