Does any one know of any good support groups for wives of soldiers in Germany? I know of a girl who is a young wife of a soldier, she isnt able to live on base yet, she doesnt speak German, and she has no one over there. Plus, the wives of some of the other soldiers over there havent been too helpful. Can anyone give any references to some support groups she could look into or possibly Soldiers Angels Germany might be able to help out?? Any and all suggestions would be more than appreciated. She is a newlywed and has only been over there for a few months when her husband was deployed to Iraq, he will be over there for approximately 14 months. Thanks guys!!

There should be a FRG group she can ask questions.  She needs to start there I would think.

In what part of Germany does your friend live ? I can imagine how difficult it is to live in foreign country with no one you know around.
