 I received a nice email from Maria Prater this morning. 

She said she received my card in a package. She didn't say who from. 

She mentioned a Kelly Pickler and Kid Rock concert she helped set up for last week in Iraq.  It's nice to know that our members of the music world are spending some time entertaining our troops.  This was Kelly's second time over there this year, that I know of.

I also got one from one of my contacts, but I am not sure if it was from my card to him in my care package, or one someone else sent, as he didn't seem to realize who I was..*lol* Anyway, his name is Mark Matous.

Most contact I have had ever with our soldiers, it is so great to hear from them!

Just wanted to let you know I heard from Maria Prater today. She got my card in a package was all she said. Anyway it was a nice letter, she's a Texas girl, so was glad to hear from another Texan. She has a sister who lives about 20 miles from where I live.

This card swap has received a lot of response. Don't you love it?!?

maria prater is one of my contacts. i sent a bunch of card swap cards to her group with their christmas goodies. i got a nice email from her and she said she was going to write to everyone she got a card from because she wanted everyone to know their card made it there. such a sweet young lady
