    How to contact a veteran

I am hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.

I "belong" to a large on-line card making group.  I would like to encourage members of that group to make and send a card to a veteran in honor of veteran's day.  But I need to know how to find a place for individuals to send cards, as I am pretty sure we cannot just send them to "any veteran" at a VA hospital, for example.

    Ideas, please....

You might contact the local VFW or American Legion. they might be able to collect and distribute the cards for you. Another place to find veterans is your local nursing home. You might be able to address the card to the Director or Activity Coordinator of the home, then(with a line like we use for any soldier) any veteran. Probably depends on the size of the community you live in. Lynne B.
