    Some who "get no mail"

I just put in the search box " do not get any mail" and got these names. I am sure there are other similar phrases that would be just as good. What do you say we show them some devotion?

(Boyd has 5 request so far, Moxcey has 7. Rios has 7 and Smith has 6)

    Just suggesting.

    Hi, Sheila

There is also SGT Alfred Sanchez, who wrote las time March the 27th, added here December the 19th that just received a couple of letters and not even a single package...

It is kind of shocking that Sanchez has 19 contacts, and has only received a couple of letters.  I would like to send him a package but am kind of over-extended right now (!!).  Can anyone pick him up?

I just requested his address and will get a box out to him on Monday.  Thanks for pointing him out.  I rarely read their postings because I'm kind of at my limit and want to support them all.  But I guess I can add one more because this saddens me that they have not received a single package.  He did not really ask for anything...maybe folks thought he just wanted letters?  .

I would say you're right, Kathy. And its not just about not requesting anything: its also about dont tell us anything about them or their situation. Mainly for being an unit from Texas, all I can think is that people thought they were not requesting but morale support (Texas' units have usually sooo many supporters,,,).

If SFC Russ Watts doesnt make contact until tomorrow, he will probably be deleted Sad. (Im sad. They are from Grafenwoehr, the first Base I've been in my life, but...). So I will open his box and try to compose a couple of new box for these felows who didnt get anything....

    Thanks for starting this thread.

1LT Eric Tomlinson indicated that he has troops who get next to "zero" mail.    They are a Scout Platoon in the PA Guard in OIF.

Ditto to what Kathy said!  Thanks for pointing him out because he sounds just right for me ...30 yrs old and a father of a 7 yr old...just like my son.  I wouldn't want him to continue with no mail.

I will send a box to Sanchez when I can get his address in April. Why don't one of you that can't pick up an extra person send him a card or letter...and tell him that people are sending him a round of boxes. If he doesn't get them ..then maybe he has a problem with his mail.

By the way, Walgreens has a deal where you buy Softsoap and you get a coupon for another free softsoap. As of this morning it was rolling. It probably won't all week long but it is today. Also, chapstick is giving a register reward for the price. Check their ad.

I've picked up Sgt Sanchez's group...just put a box in the mail with 7 handmade flag pillows, 7 guardian angel cards, a thank you card, and a container of nice smelling powder for the female in the group. They haven't made any specific requests, and I noticed they are a group of cooks, so I don't know about food and stuff...but I'll do my best to let them know they're not forgotten, and I'm sure others are going to be doing the same!

Well, both my husband and I have been blocked from getting any more addresses. For what reason, I don't know. We send about 5 a week. Too bad new soldiers won't be getting the things I can send. So someone else will have to pick up Sanchez since I can't send him anything.

    Hello, CosmoGirl --

You can contact support@anysoldier.com and ask them to look into why you and your husband have been blocked.  I know that recently (within the last month or so) the monthly limit changed from 2 per day/maximum of 20 per month to 2 per day/maximum of 10.  If either or both of you exceeded that limit, that could be the reason why.

Please look into it -- we need all our Junkie supporters Smile

No, I checked today when the amount should have reset. We are banned. That's okay. If they want to ban us ..it is their site.
