We would love you to join us. Please read the beginning of this thread to learn more about it.

Reminder to all cardmakers: your cards should be able to fit into a small flat rate box. So I can send them all back to you in that type of box. Thanks.

My cards will be heading out in the mail soon to you.

I printed some photos of mine and pasted them onto the front of my cards.   5 different ones.

DiggerDeb, you might want to take 25 cards plus your early bird special and see if they will fit into the small flat rate box that you are hoping to use.  I'm thinking, it's gonna be a tight fit.

Also to make your sorting easier, I put a little foil star on the front of each envelope to distinguish them from all the others you will be receiving.

Perhaps others will put a small distinguishing sticker or mark on their 25 envelopes to help you out.  Just a thought...........

     Hey Debbie -

My cards were mailed today.  Let me know when you get them.

At one of our local thrift stores,  I found some rolls of big stickers of the United States of America and they were designed with the American flag flowing across the continent.  (There must be at least 200 stickers on a roll.   $1 a roll.   The smaller rolls were 75 cents. (With the words - "United We Stand" underneath the US.) I can't wait to make some cards with them. Big Smile

We have room for at least 5 more AND you still have time to take advantage of the early bird special!!  I was nervous about my first one and now I look forward to each one and I hostessing-imagine that.

So far, I have received 2 sets and waiting for Deni"s.

     Hey Debbie,

We have some time available to us,  I will probably jump in there with a second set if needed.

Everything is ready on this end, I have cards left over that I made for #10's card swap and the inserts are here.

Like Debbie said, if there's anyone out there sitting on the fence, jump in,  we'll catch you!

Sandy, don't feel pressured, however if you find you have time..............  you know you are missed.............  and I can just get a visual of you sitting on a fence..............

Mine were sent in the mail today.  You should receive them in a few days, please let me know.  I have mine paperclipped together with the card showing and the envelope and letter sandwiched between the card and a photo (both the card and photo are visible either side) so that should help with distinguishing mine.  It definitely helps to have the envelopes distinguished somehow when you are sorting as the hostess so you're sure that everyone got one of somebody's...

I numbered the packages as they came in, and made numbered piles on the table when a  sorted them out. I did one package at a time. I had the additional interest of having some sending 20 or 21 cards, and I had to keep track of that, but it was easy using the numbered piles and only using one package at a time while distributing them. If that makes sense. *G* It does in practice, maybe not in explanation.

I was planning to do it similar to Anne Marie.  Everyone please remember, the contact will be sending these cards so be careful where you add the sticker. Do not put it in the middle of the envelope where the contact will be putting the address.

I am usually nervous about stickers on the outside of an envelope. I wouldn't want the sticker to get stuck in the PO machines.

I know if I put a sticker on an envelope I always tape it down. I don't know how much tape  is avaialbe to some of my guys and gals.

    just a thought...

I received Kerri's cards today. Your photo cards are great!

THREE more days to take advantage of the first early bird special.  So far I only have 4 swappers who have taken advantage of it. Any more????

Deb.......is the eary bird special......by the postmark???? or the day it is delivered to you???   I am off work Mon.......so I'll push myself to get the special if it is postmarked on Tuesday!!!!!     I've been working on them a bit here and there......have already done the letter, and copied some pics......now just to create the cards!!!   I had all intentions of getting them to you early........but it's this thing called "going back to work" that has slowed me down.    I do enjoy it alot.......esp. the employee discount I get now (Walgreens).

For anyone interested.........next week's ad will have:   Pringles for $.99..........drink mixes for $1..........Nips for $.79 (some of my contacts like these candies).......LOTS of coupons in the ad for June 28-July 4th.........have a great week

    Love peace and blessings.......Anne Marie
