Since I am the host for the Christmas swap, guess I'll post the rules...........wasn't expecting to do this so soon :)

I would like to do a 30 card swap so I need 30 people to sign up.  If more wants to join in, then I'll do another 10 or 15 card swap.  I would like the cards to arrive to me by Friday, Nov. 13th.  You will have to include return postage or stamps.  Any questions, send me a note.  Please send me your email address and snail mail address to: dwooley@rkk.com.  I will send out a reminder the beginning of October.

    Hi Deb (Balt),

Sorry, for posting this before you were ready.   I just wanted to help me and others plan ahead.  It is easier to see the titles and dates ahead of time and that way no one has to hunt for them.  I can delete my first post if you would like.

    Hi Anne Marie,

It's a deal.  I've been thinking I should get started making Christmas stockings over the summer.  This way I won't be stressed about getting them done.  Also, they're a good project to crochet when it's hot - not like a blanket which gets very hot when it's covering you up in the summer.

     Many blessings to you,

    Donna

Re: Card Swap #13 - and More

Okay, Since we are all EAGER to  do these Swaps I was wondering could someone post the Official  List again.. Maybe from Now through to a year from now?  I know I am eager to be Hostess for the next Spring card Swap (how's that for jumping the gun!<S>) if everyone approves.

I can't remember who started that list, was it Lisa?   Deb do you know? Anyone?

If we can repost the list then  others would get a chance to look and plan and we can include some newbies?

    Just a thought

This is a great project. Kudos to those who started it all

       Smiles

    Amy

    Cheers,

    Amy

Re: Card Swap #13 - and More

Amy - here it is again.

Ok,  I'm bringing this up to the front, have made some changes on it.  Lisa was kind enough to get all these details down for us.  I went back to the thread "2009 card swap dates and hostesses/hosts" to get this information.  Let's see what happens.

2009 card swap dates and hostesses/hosts.

2010 swaps added.  Hostess can make changes to the one they pick.

I know things can change in our lives and we will check with everyone before we start a new swap, but right now here is what we have so far for the coming year.  Please remember, me, Deni and Dawn are all still around  and willing to answer any questions you might have.  Thank you guys so much for volunteering and I hope you all have as much fun as I did!  Please remember, the card due date will be set by the hostess and what I have included here are only suggestions, you may want to move your dates by a week or more to accommodate your life and style.

I was thinking about another important day.

I was thinking that it might be good to make cards for Armed Forces Day. All those thank you notes...

Maybe there are other "holidays" to celebrate that are different than the traditional ones.

    Just a thought.
