Hi Donna, I have a few post cards I can send if you'll send me your address. I assume we can write messages on the inside? It is similar to what Kevin Creel did way back. Thanks. Smile

    Re: Post Card Requested

Just a quick aside to an earlier post,

I think sending an Air Force Academy picture to a marine would be pretty funny. If this marine is an officer, he might have gone to the Naval Academy since this is where some of the officers are trained. If an enlisted marine is sent to the USNA, then they have to resign from the marines and become Navy for their time at the Academy. The firsties do service selection between marines and navy and hopefully get their first choices, whether is it Marine ground or Navy Air or SWO or Marine air or subs. There are instances were the graduates are able to change their service branches as well. This past year, I know of at least one grad who went Air Force. If this marine went to USNA, then a post card of West Point could also be pretty humorous.

Hey Donna I have a Georgia,Indiana, Hawaii and out of the country Santo Domingo. I have also made a few of my own which I know they will get a kick out of, you will too. I'm sending them tomorrow. I don't think like everyone else does , one card example I did was the State Of Confusion. I'll leave it at that and you can see it in person. Keep us posted on what they collect. Thanks.

The State of Confusion!!!   I just laughed myself silly over that one and then started to think of all the other "states"  You are a very clever person!  Thanks for sharing.

    jeankath,

I am so looking forward to getting your post cards.  I love the State of Confusion and I just know the Marines will, too.  I'll post a list of the states I send and keep it updated when I hear what all they have gotten.

Thanks to everyone for helping with this.

    Howdy!

We are leaving for vacation next week. We will be going thru NY, PA, OH, Ill, Michigan, Wisconsin, SD and maybe Montana or Nebraska.

I lost track of which states you have and don't have. Do you need any of these?

    Hi Deb,

I definitely need Montana and Michigan.  Maybe on PA, OH, Ill, NY and Nebraska.  Anything you can pick up is appreciated - even if there are repeat states because the pictures will surely be different.

     Thanks so much!!

    Jayna,

I got your post cards yesterday.  I love all the other "states" that they probably didn't think of.  I'm sure they will get a big laugh from those - I know I did.

     Thanks,

    Donna
