    Australia & Customs Forms?

I have my first (small) care package ready to send, and am wondering if I only need the one form from Australia, or if I need another kind because it will be sent out of the US after it gets there? To my way of thinking, that should be all that's required, but then I've only had things sent out here from the US, so I'm not sure how the USPS works.

A search through the forum shows that I'm not the only Aussie on here who is sending packages, so can someone please help me? Confused I'm new, and I'm already confused.Confused

Welcome to Any Soldier! As far as I know, you only need to use the one form from Australia since the package is being sent out from there. The customs agents will read that form as the package comes through on its way to your contact. Mailing restrictions are listed here on this web site and they're important to follow in order for your pkg to get through.

Best wishes as you join us in supporting the troops! Your efforts are appreciated.

I believe you would use the same form as you would for mailing any other package to the U.S.

Thanks for helping me out. I used the CN22 form. I ended up checking the USPS website, and they have a form called the same, so hopefully it gets through okay.

I suppose the worst that could happen is it gets sent back. I now have a handful of these forms just waiting to be used. Wink

It got there! I know because the contact sent me a quick email to tell me that they had received it. Big Smile

Congratulations! It's a great feeling to know that your pkg made it to your contact. Keep up the good work!
