Hi! I just found out about this site through my Marine boyfriend. He was in Iraq in 2005 and he said he got lots of packages from Any Soldier, so I decided I would help as well! As for me, I am a graduate student in CT, originally from upstate NY, studying criminal justice and forensic psychology (if any has heard of Dr. Henry Lee, I go to his school). In my free time I like to go hiking, workout, anything outdoors, even though it's only about 5 degress right now. I love to ski and I was a ski instructor for 5 years. I volunteer often for different causes, churches, homeless shelters ect. I was a Sunday school teacher at my church for a while, as well. I joined this site and just sent my first package to a female Marine that is stationed in Iraq because I am not there fighting, they are fighting for us. I don't think enough people realize what these people, who are mostly around my age (23), are doing for us and for our country and I greatly appreciate it and this is a good way to show it.
