After working for many years for a quasi-government/nonprofit agency (mixed funds) as a database administrator, network administrator, systems analyst and programmer, I changed careers and now teach computer science at a four-year private college. I teach database administration, network design and administration, programming logic, systems analysis and design, intro and advanced database design, networking theory and advise on senior projects. Many of my students are the same age as the soldiers, and their carefree life is enabled by their hardworking peers. Some of my students have served; you can tell which ones by the way they carry themselves. It's a real motivator to work with Any Soldier.
