Jack and I have just celebrated our 30th anniversary, April 22nd. We have two grown sons and 6 grandchildren, with #7 due in early June. We have five dogs - Maggie, Bruiser, Roxie, Froggie, and Not Our Puppy; Maggie is a house dog, the rest are yard dogs. Our home is about 25 miles south of Ft. Campbell, KY. I have been adopting troops from this site for the past three years. Currently I have 75 Marines, Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen in my Troop Support Rolodex, and I write to them all at least once a month. I send as many care packages as budget allows; sometimes I can get friends or co-workers to help out. With gas and groceries going sky-high and income staying at the same level as always, it's getting tougher to provide for the kids in the sandbox, but I can and do write A LOT of letters and e-mails regardless, and I send guardian angel cards to all my adoptees and the people they are listed as being contact person for. Svetlana is one of my adoptees...I got a letter last week from her thanking me for the letter and the angels, and I made sure to write back to thank her for taking time to write back.
