It has come to my attention that a soldier needs child care help for her 11 month old baby while she is deployed. Here is a link to the story. Maybe someone knows of a solution to help?

It is with sadness that we hear of the loss of our Fort Hood Soldiers on base. Our hearts go out to the soldiers and families during this time. If we can help in some way please let those of us who participate on Any Soldier know what we can do to help.

The DOD has a program for qualified servicemembers to compensate current or previous personel who were stop lossed.
Many have been out of military service for years and it is important that they know that they may qualify and should file for the compensation.

With packages, it is best to go by the cutoff date, though I have fudged a few days in the past, I wouldn't suggest pushing it.
