He has been on leave, he's back now and will be at the same address until September.

I had an email thank you from him April 5, and told him I would be sending him a box of "goodie bags" about every 3 weeks. I have a box ready to mail to him next week, so will drop him an email to confirm his address still current, and suggest he check in with AS.

I'm glad you are "back in business"! I am packing a box of "goodie bags" (toys, trinkets, candy) for the children and will get it on its way Monday! (I sent children's sandals/socks, and lots of boxed crayons last week).

I couldn't agree more, and have often wished there was more AS stuff to buy at the AS store. And t-shirts/sweatshirts, if nothing else, would help us "spread the word" by wearing them. I have bought from Cafepress, too, and have found the products good.

Well, I tried to delete my post (Sturgis/bikers is history, until next year), but there seems no way to do that. Bikers are known for supporting the military, perhaps your local bike groups can be enlisted to the cause?

I'm no seamstress, either, but I read that flannel can be cotton, a cotton blend, or wool. I have no idea what the "blend" might be?
