I use the individually-wrapped Rice Krispie Treats for padding and filling in the empty spaces in boxes. The guys tell me they arrive still sealed and ready to eat.

I believe the ones who posted here were only saying how THEY did it - and supporting one another that it's okay to do it however works best for them. There's no ONE way to support troops.
