  • Re: You must be an AnySoldier Junkie if...

You laugh until you cry because you get a thank you card from a male soldier thanking you for the box of feel better supplies and especially the Pamprin because he was "feeling bloated and moody" but now he is cured.
  • Re: Please promise me

Gray, I will be reading & posting here.  I may be young, but I like being able to search the forum for answers and rapping with all y'all. Best,

  • Re: WHY SEND THE TROOPS CIGARS?

Hey GreenTheMarine, Thanks for your service!  Specifically mentioning brands & types of cigars helps the "cigar challenged" folks like me make sure we get the right kinds of cigars.  God Bless,

  • Re: Catholic Etiquette?

Thanks for the help everyone!  Now I do not feel so ignorant of Catholic traditions.    I am on the list to have a Mass recited in our AS soldiers' name in early January 2009. Best,

  • Re: Halloween candy?

  • Re: New to this... PO problem.

Amy, Here is how we do it.....(this is an example with a fake name/addy FYI) TO: SGT. Joe Smith Attn: Any Soldier 3rd Battalion, RFD Operation APO AE 09354 This way we are in compliance with needing to include the Any Soldier line.  By lightly crossing out the Any Soldier line, we keep the postal clerks happy, but it is ...

  • Re: Sending very small packages. Is it worth it?

I would say yes small packages are meaningful and helpful.  I usually send a military flat rate box, but sometimes the budget does not allow for it.  I recently sent a bubble mailer with a hand made card and a single pair of really good hiking socks and my AS contact was thrilled with the package.  My contact says 100% of the ...
