  • Re: I just received my first e-mail! :)

Yes,  scmiller, that first e-mail is oh, so, special to the heart.  Then comes the 2nd and the 3rd, ETC and they, too, are also special.  I have printed off and kept everyone of mine over the years.  Even though I have lost contact with the guys and ladies that have sent them I will still take them out from time to time and ...
  • Re: Surprise Request (for adults only)

Thank You, PatrioticLady, for your input on that subject.  That does sound practical about protection from the sand and to stop bleeding.  Now I don't feel bad about asking about this.  Goes to show you are never too old to learn something new.  I am 65 yrs old and I just learned something new today.  Thank you, ...

  • Surprise Request (for adults only)

I just had a surprise request from a contact that has left me baffled.  Now we are all adults and I appoligize if I offend anyone on this issue. I had a request for (condoms).  I have never seen this item mentioned at all as to what is permitted or not.  Or could I get severely reprimanded and/or punished if I did add this ...

  • Re: Leaking packages...

  • Re: RE:Returned Package

What happens to the package if the box "Treat as Abandon" is checked?   I do not want any packages coming back to me so I just check treat as abandon and under instructions I write "Give to Any Soldier".   Do you think my instructions will be followed?   "GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS AND GOD BLESS ...

  • Non-Hostile Incident???

I have noticed we are losing quite a few of our Heroes as a result of non-hostile incidents.  Can anyone explain the meaning of this.  What is classified as a non-hostile incident?

  • Returned Mail

Over the years I have been sending my share of letters of encouragement to the New Contacts.  Now I have been having some "return to sender" letters returned to me with no explaination. I then check back with "Any Soldier" and the addresses are still active with no change and no mistakes made in addressing the envelopes ...

  • PeanutButta Anyone?

I love peanut butter.  Has anyone started back sending peanut butter in their packages.  I would hate to send something that would be rejected and thrown away.  I usually send a jar of one of the major brands like Skippy, Smuckers, or Reese's.  I like Reese's to send with a box of vanilla ...

  • Re: Letter from one of my soldiers

There is a brand of cookies called "Grandma's Cookies" or "Grandmothers Cookies" that come boxed and are individually wrapped.  I get mine at my local food warehouse call "Sam's Wholesale" and they are GREAT.
