I wanted to let you all know that I will be able to extend my tour another 9 months.  Long story short is they are asking something of me which I just simply can't give to them, so I said no.

I was just informed that I will not be able to go on the deployment that I volunteered for.  Long story, but that is the end result :)  So I can go home to my wife and son, who I am watching on webcam right now :D

I just received word that no more packages can be received after September 4th and it takes about a week and a half, at most, for them to arrive. I will leave it up to you all to make good judgement on when to send them last, just know that I do not know what will happen if one was to arrive here after that date :) I thank you all for everything ...
